Magic Look for Revenge on Pacers After Pitiful Game Against Boston
Coming off of a valiant – but fruitless – first round playoff effort last season against the Chicago Bulls, the Indiana Pacers have come roaring back to begin the 2011-2012 NBA year. The team is earning its best starting record in the last eight years, but they still struggle against the more proficient teams in the league.
But the Orlando Magic are a tough opponent that are 11-5 on the season so far. Also, recent history is clearly on Orlando’s side. The Magic have beaten the Pacers in Indiana in each of the last three matchups between the two.
Both organizations come into this matchup with a 7-3 record over their last ten contests. The Pacers have a 5-0 record at home so far, while the Magic are 5-3 away from home. Expect Orlando to make a surprisingly strong first quarter after their pitiful 87-56 blowout to the Boston Celtics a few days ago.
